Brand Revitalized

Cynosure had run with their duotoned image based brand for 7 years and was time for a refresh. The new brand was introduced in 2015 with all new and original photography, fonts and color scheme.

ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Companies are using the same resources as their competitors which could lead to collateral in both parties using the same image. Cynosure also needed to be allowed to share imagery with their clients, therefore, original photography was the solution.

BRANDING THAT SHINES

Cynosure sells a premium product line and therefore it needs to be promoted that way. The dark background, vibrant colors, graphical treatments and elegant font make for a great brand combination. Keeping this brand fresh and relevant requires full time attention.

Mercury Systems was challenged with a heavy workload. After a brief introductory, Mckean Design partnered and provided Mercury Systems with new print and digital collateral fast. This relationship led to a refresh in their brand and ultimately saved this company from high costs to big design agencies. Mckean Design provided a wide range of deliverables such as traditional and digital advertising, brochures, sell sheets and white paper templates and several other miscellaneous graphics.

the depths of a brand

I loved the opportunity given to me at Smith & Nephew. The company had pre-established corporate brand guidelines, but the excitement was with the challenge of keeping the brand fresh while maintaining brand integrity. As the internal Creative Services Manager, I was responsible for design work on all marketing initiatives. I was also on the S&N corporate brand committee representing the Endoscopy division and was tasked for expanding the brand guidelines.
